help me find this music video / song

I’m looking for a music video from around 2015–2017. It was a male solo singer (R&B/pop), but I don’t think the singer was the actor in the video.

The music video opens with a white male actor covered in arm and neck tattoos walking onto a film/studio set. As soon as the song starts, he sits in a makeup chair while makeup artists use airbrush makeup to cover all of his tattoos. He’s lip-syncing the lyrics throughout this scene while looking into a mirror.

The actor is wearing a white T-shirt with a black leather jacket. The camera mostly follows him in what feels like one continuous take with only a few subtle cuts. After the makeup is finished, he walks onto the set to play a clean-cut actor.

I watched it on YouTube around 2016–2017, but I think the song may have been underrated and not a major mainstream hit. I was 9 or 10yo at that time , i forgot the lyrics but the vision is there LOL
