Tips for non pork-eaters in Venice and Rome?

Agnostic Jewish-Muslim pair here visiting these two cities. Neither of us care much about kosher/halal but we have never developed a taste for pork.

We dont wish to be stuck eating nothing but kebabs either.

Any tips for us?
