HCG level after MTX

Hi everyone,

I’m writing this to be hopefully less alone in this (English is not my native language so I apologize in advance for any mistakes).
To give you a bit more context, I became pregnant after 1 round of Letrozole, it was the first time I saw a positive pregnancy test on 6/21, rapidly however, I felt like something was wrong. My HCG was 33 on 6/22, then 73 on 6/24, I was told not to worry about it.

After a lot of testing, they first told me it was a chemical pregnancy (my HCG dropped to 45 when I want to the emergency room after a sharp pain on my lower belly and some mild bleeding). They saw nothing in my uterus.

I came back 3 times to test my HCG and get a scan:
7/3 : HCG 55 —> ectopic suspected, still nothing on the scan
7/6 : HCG 50 —> still noting on the scan but I had several days of bleeding like period along with blood clots which could look like it was resolving by itself
7/8 : HCG 53 —> very small mass on the right tube (11mmx16mm)

On the 8th they gave me a dose of MTX and they told me to come back in 1 week.
They told me they were very hopeful but I am still worrying it gets bad and I end up needing surgery.

Do you guys have any similar experience? Like a lot of us, I want to move on from this, but being hopeful in the past was very disappointing so I’m not sure how to feel…
