Does a store do better the longer it’s up regardless of ads ?

Hypothetically, if my store was perfect and my advertising/seo was perfect, would I be able to sell like a store that’s been up for months ? Basically asking does having a store up for a longer period have any effect.

New to dropshipping and looking for some knowledge please.
