I (M33) met the almost perfect match for me (F25), but it will be long distance for at least 6 years...
Hi everyone,
It's the morning after our latest date. We had an amazing day, an amazing night and a beautiful morning. We talked about things i could never talk with any woman before, we had amazing sex multiple times of the night.
Maybe it's the honeymoon phase, i don't know. But for me, almost everything about her fits perfectly for me.
And I'm pretty sure for her it's similar. Her best friedn hooked us up at a party a while ago. We met a few days later again, at a birthday party. I had the assumption that I need to step up and charm her. Turned out later that I was actually the one that was set up by the two of them :D so yeah, she is definitely into me.
Problem is: she has a career she is very invested in. She wants to become a pilot, and therefore is bound to the airline that is financing her flight school program. That airlines HQ is a few hours away by car. So commuting is not really an option, especially later in training when you have a response time of 60 min...
This will last for 6 years. After those 6 years she definitely wants to get back to where I am currently living and where she's originally from. She's also around at the weekends as often as she can.
But still, it will be long distance for not only a few months or 1-2 years, but longer than any relationship i had uo until now. Therefore I'm a bit... I don't know, unsure?
I really like her and a huge part of me is willing to take the leap. I don't know about her, but she's definitely leaning towards it too.
Is there anyone around her who had a similar situation? How did it turn out? Can something like that work or do you think it is doomed from the very beginning?
I'm happy for every new perspective I can get :)
