Made a small offline scrapbook/journal app because my camera roll was not helping much.

I Made This :snoo_wink:

I built Mementia because my camera roll kept the image but lost the context: who was there, where it happened, and why an ordinary day mattered.

The product is a private, local-first journal and personal codex for iOS and Android. Instead of another feed, memories become five linked card types: people, places, days, moments, and things. A day can point back to the people and places in it, while everything stays on the phone without requiring an account.

The main product challenge was keeping that structure useful without making memory keeping feel like data entry. I kept the first action small—a photo, title, and short note—and used the linked cards to add context only when someone wants it.

I would value direct feedback on the onboarding, the five-card model, and whether the private/offline positioning is clear from the website and store pages.

Relationship: I made it. The app is a free download with an optional subscription.
