BCA graduate with a 1-year gap. Feeling stuck and unsure whether to continue with web development or switch to cybersecurity.

I graduated with a BCA and have been applying for internships on Internshala and LinkedIn for months. Most of what I've found either looks like a scam, asks for money, or offers unpaid internships. It's honestly been really discouraging.

I keep wondering if I'm struggling because I only have a BCA. It feels like everyone expects an MCA or B.Tech, and I didn't realize that before choosing this degree. If I had known how difficult it would be, I might have made a different decision.

Now I have a one-year gap, and I feel stuck at home. My long-term goal is to work abroad, so I don't really want to spend more money on an MCA if it isn't going to improve my chances significantly.

I genuinely enjoy web development, and I've been learning full-stack development. But with AI advancing so quickly, I'm starting to question everything. What if I spend another year mastering full-stack and still can't find a job? That fear keeps holding me back.

Lately, I've been thinking about switching to cybersecurity. Is it worth starting over and mastering that instead? Is the job market any better, or would I just end up in the same situation?

Has anyone here been in a similar position? If you graduated with a BCA, had a gap year, or managed to land a job abroad, I'd really appreciate hearing your experience or any advice. I honestly feel lost right now.
