I will preface this post by saying I live in a 120-year old farm house in which the "architecture" leads to wall space coming at a premium. I have managed to repurpose a large bedroom into an entertainment room with a Polk 5.1 system and Audio-Technica turntable for occasional vinyl sessions. I also have decent, but space-compromised, 2.1 systems in my bedroom, home office and workshop. So, I have really been trying to come up with a place where I could do more critical listening across the wide range of genres I enjoy. So, here it is, after supplementing a small library (20'x12') I have upstairs. Pictures show both the "storage" location and then moving the speakers into critical listening locations, plus a couple pictures of components.

The audio path is: Volumio server > SMSL SU-1 DAC > Fosi P3 tube amp > Fosi V3 Monos. I have done a lot of tube and op amp tweaking on the Fosi's, but that's for another subreddit. The main speakers are Wharfedale Super Lintons supplemented by tiered subwoofers: a REL Storm III @ 70Hz cutoff for bass articulation, and a Dayton Audio CS1200 @ 35Hz cutoff located behind the curtain on the right in a full length closet (30'x8') for deep room pressurization when listening to Darkwave/synth bass tracks. Given that the install is new I haven't dressed and hidden all the wires yet.
