Adoption in New York

My husband and I are starting the adoption process. We are looking into both adoption from foster care (for children who are already eligible to be adopted) and infant adoption. If anyone could provide guidance on either process it would be so greatly appreciated. I’ve been doing my own research on some agencies to see what they have to offer and contacted about webinars where I can, but would love to hear experiences from people who went through agencies / went through the county for foster care adoptions and everything in between! We are so excited but a bit overwhelmed.
