OBD2 Scanner

Hi all,

Looking for a obd2 scanner if possible for a Kia 2022 Soul Ev Limited. I'm fairly new to cars in general, so why I tried googling, I'm still a little lost.

Basically I saw a recommendation in another post about having one to help diagnose small issues on your own. I agree that knowledge is power. However I confused by which ones may or may not be compatible with my car as it seems most are geared to ICE cars and am having a hard time confirming EV compatibility.

I guess I question is, are there ones sub 100$ for my car and if so where are they typically available? Any recommendations for Canadian stores or anecdoctal times you've seen it be useful?
