canva website building question

So, this is a bit hard to word but I'll try my best lol. Essentially, you can build a site via canva and it's one long scrolling thing. However I've seen other's completed websites made via this method and using the navigation bar at the top of their page, you can be taken to various parts of their site and those pages which you land on after clicking aren't on the rest of the scrolling site. Ive looked through canvas help page and I have no clue how to achieve this. Normally, when trying to achieve this, you create a button and it will just jump you to the part of what is essentially just a vertical slideshow, but somehow its possible to make certain pages separate and only accessible by clicking a button. I hope that makes sense as it's really hard to explain. If anyone can give me any pointers on how to achieve this please let me know! Many thanks x
