Exact match domains aren't very valuable anymore; this one went from $7.6k on Afternic to $175 on GoDaddy

There was a time in the past when long, ugly, exact match domain names sold for thousands of dollars.

An example is the domain name "AutoInsuranceComparisons.com".

This one sold for $7,600 on Afternic back in 2009.

But SEO has dramatically changed since then and keyword-rich domains have lost most of their SEO power.

This domain sold yesterday in an expired GoDaddy auction for just $175.
