Hydrocolloid patch
I had an eczema flare-up on my inner elbow that I couldn't stop scratching. I bought a pack of cheap large wound-coverage hydrcolloid patches at the drugstore and put one on, and after a few days it had gotten much better. (After a few hours it became surprisingly more flexible than I imagined!)
I think that helped with a) physically not being able to scratch it and keep breaking the skin open, and b) maybe helping to keep it moisturized and protected from more irritants. Worth a shot!
