Considering buying first Oura ring but should I wait after few months postpartum?

I’ve been a looooong time Fitbit girlie and 38 weeks pregnant with my first!! I’ve been thinking about making the switch to an oura ring for a while but wanted to keep my Fitbit through pregnancy. (Even though it just tells me I’ve been shit because it doesn’t have a pregnancy setting.) At first I was thinking to get an oura ring for day one of postpartum but not sure if it makes sense to make my baseline measurements in the newborn trenches. Or does it not really matter?
