Google Merchant Center suddenly suspended for “Deceptive content” after removing Local Listings

I run an online-only perfume webshop, but Google somehow treated it as a physical store and required local inventory verification.

I disabled Free Local Listings, changed my Business Profile so customers can’t visit my address, and refreshed my feed.

Instead of fixing the issue, my Merchant Center account was suspended for **“Deceptive content,** even though my website has all the required policies and business information.

To make matters worse, I already have three reviews on Google maps. I asked customers to leave reviews either on trust, pilot or Google Maps and some people did on Google Maps. At this point, I had not integrated review add-on to the website, so I did not think that there was any harm for people to leave Google map reviews.
