"Cut" style youtube video sound

Gig / Prep / Workflow

Hey poeple! I recently got a call to work on a "cut" style youtube video. Sorta speed dating type thing with 10 participants. I was wondering if anyone had any idea how to efficiently pick up sound for these kinds of formats?

The videos are shot in a studio and shot quite wide so I was thinking plant mics mostly.
I did a first episode where I had a boom for the participants and lavs on the presenters but booming is super tough on "reality" formats like these i feel. We had a grid so I was also thinking of hanging an omni or stereo pair in the middle.

The videos are quite low budget so 10+ lavs are not an option for me...

I'm working with a sound devices 633, 2 boom mics, a zoom h5 and the video team have a pair of dji clip-on lavs.

What do y'all think?
