Liftgate issues on 2022 XT

About a week ago, my liftgate stopped responding to all ways to open or shut it... I've tried everything I could find online to get it to work again, different sequences of holding buttons down, trying to reset the opening height, unhooking the battery to reset the system, and checking fuses. My mechanic replaced the helper arm and also tried everything he could find on resetting the system. He could get it to work 3 times, but on the 4th try, it would stop working again. Has anyone had this issue and what ended up fixing it?
