Feeding suggestions
Hello everyone! I need a bit of advice. My son is 9 months and will put absolutely any and everything in his mouth, except food. I have to place the food in his mouth and he then will blow raspberries and spit it out or take it and play with it. His pediatrician says he should be ready and to offer food before milk but to me, it doesn’t seem like it. I started purees around 7 months and at first he tolerated them but now he doesn’t. Since his 9 month appointment, I thought I’d try different things thinking maybe it was a texture thing but he’s the same even with other types of food (fruits, crackers etc) I don’t know how he knows the difference between food and non foods but he does. What can I do? How can I get my son to stop trying to eat tissue and toenails and start having actual food?
