My current Skyrim gripe: Favoriting identical weapons

I'm looking for any suggestions on how to improve how Skyrim handles favoriting/equipping items with identical names.

It is tedious to play a character that does, for example, a bow and also dual-wield daggers because the favorites menu won't keep both daggers in the list.

What suggestions can you kind folks offer me to alleviate this comical annoyance?

(I know that if they are enchanted differently or tempered differently that they will stay separate.)
