What's the biggest mistake freshers make while applying for jobs?

Every day I see discussions about resumes, referrals and salary expectations.

• Applying everywhere without reading the JD?
• Weak projects?
• Unrealistic salary expectations?
• Poor communication?
• Something else?

Interested in hearing different perspectives.
