Why society seems to think that autistic people "choose" to only befriend and date ND's or other autistic people?
Do they know that autism is a social disability? Do they know that autism makes maintaining and making relationships harder? Do they know that even with social deficits it's easier to interact with people similar to them?
Then why do they think that not having personal relationships with neurotypicals is a personal decision? Neurotypicals are never judged for not having ND friendships or rejecting autistic people, but for some reason we're judged when we gravitate towards people similar to us, it's like they're allowed to not engage with us but we're punished when we do the same thing.
