Home router/Router recommendations for large family of gamers, issues with ISP equipment

Advice

Hello,

Currently a family of 4 who play video games or stream tv or movies all throughout the day & night.
We currently have just the standard router & modem that our ISP (Spectrum) provides with their 1 Gig service. About 30 devices connected. With 2 LAN wired connections (working better then wireless connections).

We have had issue after issue with their equipment & their “solution” is to have us buy range extenders. I don’t feel as that is the solution as we’re in a single-wide modular home thats no more then ~900 sq ft.

I’ve followed their advice keeping equipment away from windows, having them replace & move their cables, have switched equipment 4 times & now they are basically giving up on the issue & just saying suck it up.

We have multiple smart TV’s, Some smart lights, Security camera & System, Pc’s, consoles, & phones. Only 2 devices are wired in & they do good compared to everything that is wireless.

Example Issues:
On phones example - We can barely use the wifi on out phones as things don’t load, download, or respond have the time so we either need to use our cellular or disconnect from the wifi & then reconnect & it will work for a couple of minutes.

On consoles example - if not wired you can’t play a game of Fortnite without constant disconnection/Stuttering.

I’ve been looking at a ASUS ZENWIFI BE3600 & eerp pro 6e the past couple of days but i’m not sure what the best option is for us or if there is something out there better for our situation. I’m decently tech-savvy but have no experience with custom firmware for routers or anything like that. unless it’s pretty intuitive, a good modem and or router out of the box would be preferred.

Thank you for your suggestions.
