Film Photographer on top of main P&V team: is it worth it?

Hi graduate brides! Or future brides who have availed of a film photog while having a separate P&V team. How was it? Any insight will be appreciated. My other option is to buy disposable cams and distribute them to friends and family. What do you think would be the better option?

Our main photographer is Overcast Studios which is somehow film vibes if you check their portfolio. But I know pure film photography is still very different.
