Pals stuck when using Monitoring Stand

Good morning, Reddit! I hope some of you have gotten some sleep since 1.0 launched! :)

I'm playing on PlayStation with my girlfriend. We noticed last night that when you assign Pals to tasks through the monitoring stand they're getting stuck in the base. They will still work on their station, but from very far away from the actual location of it. I've had lamball and mozzarina dropping wool and milk directly on my berry farm instead of in the pen. Pals that are assigned to logging and mining are chopping / mining away from the other side of the base.

When you unassign them from the monitoring stand they will actually go up to the stations and work.

Not sure if this is a new bug with 1.0, we haven't played in over a year. Anyone have any fixes? Is this happening to anyone else?
