Whenever we talk to people who run on appointments, the system is almost never one thing
It's usually some mix of:
- a paper notebook that must not be lost (and occasionally is)
- Instagram / WhatsApp DMs doing double duty as a booking channel
- a Google Calendar that only half the team actually updates
- a Notes app holding client details
- and your own memory, doing way too much of the heavy lifting
And honestly? It works… right up until someone double-books, a client swears they said Tuesday, or you realize you never wrote down that deposit.
So, genuinely curious how everyone here does it:
- What are you using to manage bookings and clients right now?
- What's the one part that drives you up the wall?
- Has anything ever actually made it better?
No wrong answers - "notebook and memory" is a completely valid system, we're not here to judge 😄 We mostly just want to hear how people really run this day to day.
(Full disclosure: we're building Mountify to make this less chaotic, so these threads genuinely shape what we work on. But this one's for you - tell us your setup 👇)
