Whats the point of remaking P4?

Look at least P6 is real now, but this remake is such a blatant cash grab it’s the series as a whole feel cheaper and kinda gross to me, I also don’t understand how someone could possibly be excited for it, P4 Golden was my first Persona game and I played it in middle school so I have a lot of love for it, but this whole remake all the classics mentality really puts a sour taste in my mouth and makes me less excited for P6.

Cultural ouroboros and all that, anyway that’s my rant, can’t wait to see P5 remake on the PS6
