breaking into quant from a t5 us uni

yo guys i’m starting my undergrad at a HYP this fall, planning on majoring in electrical engineering

im an international student with money to burn, but i would like to challenge myself and work for a elite quant firm as a QT for a few years after my undergrad

with the h1b issues and stuff, is my dream of breaking into quant even realistic?
