**Gameplay Rules**

**Sportsmanship**

This league is built around **competitive but fair gameplay**. We are here to have fun while creating a realistic college football experience.

No intentionally running up the score.
Be respectful to your opponents.
Avoid exploiting game mechanics or repeatedly abusing broken plays.
There are **no play-call limitations** at this time. However, if a particular play, formation, or exploit becomes excessive or negatively impacts the league, the commissioners reserve the right to implement restrictions.

Use common sense. If it feels cheesy, it probably is.

⸻

**Mercy Rule**

If a team is **leading by 21 or more points at halftime**, the winning team should offer their opponent the option to concede.
The losing coach may choose to continue playing if they wish.
If both coaches agree to continue, the game should still be played with good sportsmanship.

⸻

**Running Up the Score**

Once you have a comfortable lead:

Continue playing realistic football.
Avoid unnecessary deep shots or aggressive play calling simply to increase the margin of victory.
Respect your opponent.

Style points are never more important than sportsmanship.

⸻

**Fourth Down Rules**

To keep games realistic, follow these fourth-down guidelines.

**You MAY go for it:**

**Anywhere on the field** if it is **4th & 1 or shorter.**
**4th & 3 or shorter** when the ball is between your opponent’s **50-yard line and 30-yard line.**
**Any fourth down** once you are **inside your opponent’s 30-yard line (red zone).**
**Any fourth down at any point in the game if you are trailing by 21 points or more.**

If your situation does not fall under one of these guidelines, you should punt or attempt a field goal.

⸻

**Fair Play**

Remember that every coach has invested time into building their program.

Play with integrity.
Respect every opponent.
Win with class.
Lose with class.

The goal is to build a league that people want to stay in season after season.

⸻

**Commissioner Authority**

League commissioners reserve the right to:

Address exploitative gameplay.
Add or adjust rules if necessary.
Resolve disputes fairly.
Protect the overall competitive balance of the dynasty.

The objective is not to punish players, but to maintain an enjoyable and realistic league for everyone.

⸻

**Most Important Rule**
