Foot tapping during recording

I record seated playing guitar and vocals simultaneously into two mics. My music is not polished and relies heavily on the character and emotions in my singing, and I’ve realized that to get my best performance there is going to be foot moving/tapping while I record. Ideally I keep my legs calm and that solves the problem, but that is hindering the timing and the whole performance. Has anyone had this issue and solved it with things like having shock absorbing mats at the offending foot, and/or pads that isolate mic stand from the floor, or something else? Both mics are LDCs.
