Unexpected news

Hey friends, so yesterday I had something totally unexpected happen. My wife and I have been struggling lately because I’ve been in a period of intense burnout with work, and life, and autism and blah blah blah… Anyway, diapers have always been my primary regulatory coping system to manage my autism symptoms and maintain my masking abilities. My wife very much dislikes diapers. She understands that I need them, and has allowed me to wear them to help me. But she would much rather I do almost anything else. She finds the whole affair to be too gross to handle.

We were talking yesterday about my current level of burnout and what I need to start getting back to my old self. After going back and forth for a bit I reluctantly said I think I need to wear 24/7 for awhile, possibly forever. To my complete shock she immediately said ok, then asked how we are going to handle it logistically. We came up with a plan, and I have been diapered since, and looking forward to not using the toilet for a looong time.

I’m still in disbelief tbh I never thought she would go for it, but I guess it goes to show how much she has grown in her acceptance of this side of me.

So now I need to find a good middle absorbency diaper akin to the playdayz, or preschools from Abu.

Anyway that’s all. Just wanted to share the news with people who can appreciate it.
