Valvoline CVT fluid

Anyone use non oem fluid for a drain & fill on their 5th gen CRV? Plan to do 2-3x to get some of this old fluid out. Plan to do this in 20k intervals. 2018 EXL AWD 110k miles - sure I’m past the warranty. Honda HCF-2 is just too expensive at the moment. Just want to treat to treat my car a little better.
