AI might be the great filter

AI might be the great filter.

AI in my mind seems to be such a natural invention and use of computers that it might have been developed by all the other intelligent life forms in the universe that once were and now rest in peace as the AI they created destroyed them.

Hence the absence of alien life.

Also one alignment mistake is enough once an artificial general intelligence exists to create a process to eliminate humanity.

I think many are underestimating AI and need to wake up.
