Help! Why won’t my baby sleep at night
My baby will be 7 months next week and has consistently struggled with sleep since the 4 month regression.
Recently she had 3 amazing nights with one wake up to feed and then going right back to sleep. It was amazing.
However - now she is back at it with regular wakeups and taking forever to settle back to sleep. I somehow think she just isn’t tired enough because you see her trying to resettle but just not able to get back into that deep sleep like she did those 3 nights that worked well.
We tried a 2 nap schedule when she was 6 months and that didn’t seem to help so moved back to a 3 nap schedule.
The days where she slept well she had a late bedtime (9:30pm). That schedule was about: 2.75/2.5/2.5/3
Naps are usually around 3 hours total.
Starting to think she’s just low sleep needs and needs even more awake time. Maybe 12 hours? Maybe I should cap naps?
Never thought I’d spend this much time troubleshooting or thinking about baby sleep. Please help I will take all tips!!
