Advice for calming down panic about routine things I can't remember?
Currently panicking because I can't remember if I properly disposed of an opened baby food pouch at my job.
It's one of those things where you can't remember because it's so routine that your brain just blanks it out.
I'm usually hyper careful around everything to do with infants, so I would think that I threw it away properly, but I just can't remember.
I remember finding it, checking the seal, setting it down for a second to grab something else, picking it back up, twisting the top to confirm that it was already open, and walking up to the front of the store where the printer would be so I could put a sticker on it.
But after that my mind goes blank. I don't remember actually stickering it, or putting it with the tossables. But I don't remember doing anything else with it either.
Now I'm panicking because what if it ends up back on the shelf and a parent give it to their baby without checking the seal first?
If anyone else deals with this, how do you calm yourself down?
