Live version of "Whiskey in the Jar" just hits different ... in a very good way

I was at the Sunday show in London and when they did Whiskey In the Jar it sounded just massive and more impactful than the album version

Is this cos they always tune down for live shows to be easier for James to sing for like 2+ hours

Also my fiancé who is not a metal head at all but came to the show lit up when she heard the intro. One of the few Metallica songs she knows from memory (I play Metallica a lot in my car)
