Has anyone ever successfully proved delivery to the wrong address?
Meaning, has anyone ever actually been refunded when the courier, in this case SpeedX, has lost their parcel?
I have "delivery pictures" from SpeedX which clearly show that a parcel was delivered to the wrong address.
The SpeedX chatbot claims I'm lying, and the AliExpress chatbot agrees.
I sent them photos of my actual front door and porch.
AliEx has a long record of delivery pictures of my actual address, it would be trivially easy for a human to look at the photos and see that this place in the "delivery" photos is not my address.
I've had this problem before, but I've had a good run for a while so I got overconfident and started buying slightly more expensive things. It's a shirt, it cost AU$34, it's not the end of the world if I lose it, but it will absolutely cost AE money in lost sales because I am now utterly annoyed by them calling me a liar and acting like I'm trying to scam them when I have actual photographic evidence that I am telling the truth.
So, yeah: has this ever worked for anyone? Refunded for a lost package that was marked "delivered"?
I'd also be interested to hear if anyone has had a better result from Temu or any similar sites.
In conclusion, if you see SpeedX in the delivery info, worry.
