My bumble date asked me to split 50-50 after ordering everything and then said its feminism

so i matched with this guy on bumble, bio was 6ft finance gym etc, we decided to meet at the cafe near my college. i reached on time, he came 20 mins late in crocs and ordered the most expensive burger, cold coffee, fries and a brownie, i just ordered one cold coffee because i wasn't that hungry.

when the bill came he looked at it and said we should split 50-50 because he believes in feminism and equality and all. so i paid 450 for my 200 rs coffee. then he said cafes are too expensive for first dates and asked if we can go for a walk instead. i said my auto is here and left. girls is this normal now or am i tripping.
