ELI 5: "Loses to Ash, Nib, Droll"

Who doesn't lose to these hand traps when discussing top tier decks? Is the phrase meant to encompass the entire match? Or just specifically discussing an individual cards viability VS said hand traps?

Loses to Ash/Droll? Don't most decks search? Isn't this everyone's problem?

Lose to Nib, again we're all summoning a lot, this is not a unique issue however decks don't summon a ton do exist for sure.

Any strategy will lose to traps, what are we even saying here? Maybe you guys mean cards that have so much individual gas that they don't even care about being negated and have an additional extender option?
