Why do I feel like something about the Anne Widdecombe murder doesn't add up?
I've been musing about this today -
-
She appeared perfectly well and was on TV three days ago. That's why I was shocked when they said she had died, then we find out it's murder.
-
The police quickly said it was a 'white-male' suspect - they arrest a guy, then release him without charge, and now they are saying they're conducting a 'manhunt' but give no details or description as to who they are looking for?
-
They said there was no reason to believe it was terrorism or politically motivated without explaining why. I mean how do you know it wasn't? If it were a political assassin wouldn't that be the point?
-
She had controversial views on everything - trans rights, lgbt rights, womens rights, religion, immigration, you name it.
-
She was a high-profile soft target - elderly, lived alone and was a well known spinster.
I'm not putting on my tin foil hat, but I have a deep feeling there is something not right about it.
