I was trying to trace back all of the yandere ships for which I went yandere/completely obsessed with, and this is the result in chronological order.

These couples were my hyperfocus for so long that I can describe my life in terms of them.

When I was 5 and started watching Winx Club, Bloom and Valtor became my obsession. You guys have no idea how much I cried when he was defeated by the end of S3. My mother was watching me like: *"What's wrong with this girl?"*

Then the same happened with TVD (books, not the tv show) when I was 13 or so. God, I loved Damon so much that I spent the whole night crying in a fetal position when >!he died!<. *Yes, that's a thing for most of my ships: if I like them, they're 90% more likely to end up in tragedy.*

Then there was Hannibal. For once, I didn't fall for either of them... they were too old for my tastes😭 but their dynamics entranced me to the point of thinking about it, obsessively, for months.

And when I got into manhwas, my first hyperfocus was The Hand That Once Fed. I just couldn't stop thinking about it, I almost learned Arabic and Indonesian to read this faster😭

Then I had similar obsessions with Olgami and Dreaming Freedom. They were just so good that I felt like nothing could possibly beat them.

And then finally, I got one of my longest obsessions: The Sacred One Speaks. This manhwa/novel has an unexplainable allure. I somehow have read this more than 30 times and counting.

Lastly, I read Kneel Before Me (NOVEL) almost six months ago, and it blew my mind like a tsar bomb. I love Kyrie and Nathaniel to the point that I think about them before I go to sleep, when I'm on the bus, when I'm listening to music. Now, seriously, I don't know if I'll ever read something as good as this. >!And ofc, it ends in tragedy bc a girl can't be unconditionally happy.!<

Off: It breaks my heart to use an image from that manhwa to illustrate Nathaniel. Don't read that. Go for the novel.

So, what does you guys' yandere footprints look like?
