Gwen stood alone in the wasteland
Gwen was standing in the midle of the field she knew she could cure her, well she knew beating somebody could cure them. So why not try and expedite the process. Sure Pixie was nice.... But her real target all along had been the one she made a promise to. The one she wanted to spend her life with. "Ilyana Rasputin! I'm here to challenge you to Mortal Kombat!" she yelled into the void as if to try and lure her out.
she had however foolproofed her plan in case she failed? Well she had instructed Pixie and Jean to get her out..... By using Pixie's hallucinations to distract Ilyana and aiding in her escape after that.
OOC: please only u/soulforgedinlimbo react this was planned in a way that this will not succeed so no worries about losing yet another person to Gwenpool.
