How can I maximise my chances for the MEM program?

Hello everyone,

I am currently in my final semester industrial engineering doing internship at a large scale spice processing firm and is expecting to graduate with around 6.5/10 CGPA.
My plan as of now is to gain some production/operations experience for the next 1.5-2 years while also prepare and attempt for the gmat.

I know my CGPA isn’t particularly competitive, so I am trying to understand what I should focus on over the next two years to strengthen my application. I would really appreciate hearing from people who have gone through the MEM process with similar stats.
