TLDR: Dating is hard

Hey, 27M here.....moved to Mumbai last year for a job so dating has been kind of not an easy thing to do.....so what is this toxic Trifecta

A) Outsider

B) A super demanding Job

C) Being Broke

So let me take you point by point

A) Being an Outsider means you already come with less social net than people already from here so the only way to meet someone is through again the other toxic Trifecta ( Hinge, Bumble, Aisle ). So I did the usual dance of creating an account, did get a decent number of matches but here is the catch right, being average height (you already get filtered out) + average looks will not score you likes, so you put in the work, see the profiles say something funny on her prompts and then get the match. So talked to a few girls went out with just 1, that too just 1 date she said in the middle of it there is this other person she really likes he works in her office + we were not really vibing so I did not mind, at the end of the date said ....ki she should just delete hinge and ask out that guy.....guess what she eventually started going out with him. Well at that point of time I had a decent job but not the profile I wanted + a super dull organization then I switched to a better job which I knew would be very demanding (this is my 5th Job) that brings us to point B

B) Well you have certain dreams you want to achieve them, you are not here to have fun so that is what I did. After Bachelors in another city I worked 3 different roles in (X1 Domain) then moved to Mumbai changed my domain all together to (X2 Domain) here also I switched my profile once which brings me to my 5th Job the one I am currently into, so I already knew the gig would be tough and still signed on now work happens all the time even on weekends sometimes, do I mind it ....ofc not I wanted this thing so badly then the issue is with dating now......no one will understand this, girls want attention especially in the talking stage and well I don't have time at all so yes now I have stopped everything for a while, it's been like 6 months there has been no dating app on my phone.....okay you work so much then how come you are Broke that brings us to point C

C) Being Broke : Well when I switched domain from X1 to X2, I was not really qualified so had to take a pay cut, then while switching in the same domain to another job same, for the new role I was not again qualified so I got hired on same salary....so it has been like 4 years of work and somehow in the 4th year I have less salary than year 2 😂😂😂😭😭......plus mumbai's cost of living does not help

So for now taking a break from everything
