The Wuthering Waves endgame Query

I've been playing wuwa for a long time now, and I would like to save and pull for meta characters that would help grow my account more in the future, whether it's supports for my current characters or just saving up for a whole new team to clear endgames. In recent times, however, it's come to my attention that wuwa is facing a grave problem with powercrept characters and TOA inflation, etc., so what I'd like to know is whether it's actually worth it, or do I just pull for the characters I'm fond of even if they are not of use on my account?
