Online 5e 2014 Veteran player looking for something new

Hello, I am an experienced TTRPG player.  I have played in all kinds of settings, including Forgotten Realms, Greyhawk, Eberron, and Dragon Lance, just to name a few.  I am in search of a game in a new Homebrew setting to explore and learn.  A long-term game with a focus on role play.  I also enjoy exploration and learning setting lore.  I like creating interesting characters with their own unique weaknesses and flaws.  I enjoy learning about the other player characters in the game.  I prefer the original 5e 2014 edition.  I just find it simpler to create the characters I want to play in that system. I prefer a game that when it does include combat, that the combats are challenging.  I enjoy more serious, themed games that will give you challenging moral decisions.  I am available for games most evenings after 5 PM CST.  Once I find a game I am committed to seeing it to the end.  So, if this sounds like a good fit with your game and you have a story to tell, please send me a DM and I will give you my Discord handle so we can have a conversation about it.  Thank you for taking the time to read my post.  Hope to hear from some of you soon.
