Recently visited hotel shraavan, now located at jm rd. Their old outlet at fc rd is still open for a few days thou. Growing up shravan has always been our somewhat go to restaurant.

Its where my parents used to go when they were newly married. 😄 Anyways let's get back to the point. If youre willing to have some typical north indian food likee maybe youre done with fast food outlets you can visit this place.

Now let's rate my current overall experience as i have tried here for the first time .

Ambience :- It was well lit , better than the old one. Felt fresh , airy and pretty much breathable. Quite spacious than before. Staff members always had a look out for what we wanted.

Also they have kept their quality intacked , their crockery, their interior, the colours used for their furniture everything was proper colour coordinated and that literally showcased how well they are in everything they put in.

Now let's talk about the food.

Our order was the usual 🥲

Total bill was about 2k

Masala papad 4 /10

One soup 5/ 10

Paneer chilli 8/10

Paneer angara 9/10

Baked sweet corn 10/10 🌽

Naan 4/10

Schezwan rice 4.5/10

Masala papad :- didn't include the sev which i feel is the main ingredient 🙂 it was also thodasa oily comparatively.

Soup :- We ordered cream of mushroom , it was kinda less mushroom-ie tbh. Although wass good in taste.

Paneer chilli :- it was a bit less saucy but the paneer was thinly coated and it was crispy too. Only draw back was the sauce as it was tasting a bit dry !!

Sabji :- Paneer angara

If youre not a fan of curry leaves , its a big no no for you !! But this tasted pretty well to the other sabjis we normally try . Paneer was soft and melted in mouth. Really liked the flavour of curry leaves thou , and it was mid spicy as well.

Naan :- it was a turnoff fr mee tbh as i had ordered garlic Naan. They added garlic frm inside which made the bread taste doughy with slight hint of garlic instead of garlicy smoky taste !!

Rice :- it was also kinda mid. As the orders i liked how they have not added any artificial ingredients. But it was low on taste level imo . And somewhat wet not that freshed (khila khila )🍚

And now the main part which is their cheese baked sweet corn 🌽

This dish you must order if you visit shravan as its hands down their best dish on their menu imo. 😋

The baked crispy cheese 🧀 melts in your mouth, and the sweet sauce with corn hits on spot 😋 !! 🤌🏻🤌🏻🤌🏻
