What happened to my C5 to cause this? (Was temporary.)

Last night, I was using the TV and turned it off as I was leaving the room (as I do to help minimize burn-in) and came back to this. It did not matter whether there was an image over HDMI, tried to bring the apps up, settings, and so on. In fact, this was the same even after the TV was turned off until a few minutes later when you hear the "click" and the panel is no longer energized.

I left it alone for about an hour and it happened to work again. My thought is that a self-resettable fuse tripped and the longer period of being off allowed it to return to normal. Thankfully I have a five year warranty through Costco as I got this on the price mistake but was still a scare.

Should I still contact LG about the issue?
