gave my bf a hair tie then let his friend borrow it

oa for being annoyed that the hairtie i gave to my bf gave that hair tie to his friend?

For context: me (19) and my bf (20) are already 11 months in a relationship. I saw a trend before that they would give their hairtie to their bf as a symbol of taken/in a relationship. I met my bf last year of january, still in courting stage when i gave him my hairtie. He kept that and never remove it until last last month when the tie is alr broken. So i gave him a new one, and now i am reading his updates to me that he let his friend borrow my hairtie and i should just give him another one??? for context, i always got jealous to that friend (girl) but he kept assuring me that she is just a friend and she has a bf, i am annoyed rn.
