Slowest Weeping of Blood 5 Days Post-Op

Just wondering what the general experience/consensus is for your nose to still be bleeding 5 days after the op. Had septoplasty and turbinate reduction on Monday, had the usual bleeding and mucus the first 2 days.
Healing seemed to be alright I guess? Till I woke up last night (night 5) with blood having dripped all over my top lip and into my mouth. By the time I woke up it had dried up so I suspect the bleed has been very slow as it has been all day today.

I've gone through several tissues now, but it's always just a dab or drop at a time every few minutes while I sat in A&E. After giving me a nasal spray and cream that I was apparently meant to get after my op, my ENT also advised I apply pressure up my nose with some gauze pads. Is this common advice anyone else has receieved?
