Changing condenser fan motor to 4 wire, do I still need jumper wire from contacter to capacitor?

I'm replacing my condenser fan motor. Old one was 3 wire, new one is 4 wire. In the 3 wire motor there was a wire that went from the capacitor common to the contactor. Do I still need that wire since the 4 wire motor has one that goes directly to the contactor, or remove it?
